I always think The end of Chapter 2 is the most painful to Piers .... I don't believe he can escape easily from those Napads.
He must protect his captain... and kill all who he ever called "friends" .
Last thing was.... he never know captain will run away...... 
it really such the most painful to me....  also... He must hurt so much.
